Jersey City New Elementary School #3 project
550 Tons

This project consisted of a three-story steel framed building spread over 124,000 square feet with a total project value of $54 million. The building is located between Jefferson Avenue and Laidlaw Avenue in Jersey City and is built to house more than 750 students.

This project was unique because it was a 'design-build' project. B&B worked closely with the Architect, Engineer and the General Contractor right from inception to the end, providing insightful value engineering strategies to reduce costs and maximize efficiency to complete the project on schedule.

The collaborative approach allowed us to optimize the structural design while maintaining the highest standards for educational facility construction.

This project demonstrated our ability to work effectively in integrated project delivery methods and contribute to successful outcomes through early involvement.
